STORY
The Sable was built from 1986 to 2005 and again in 2008 and 2009. It was a front-wheel-drive sedan and wagon, the Mercury counterpart to the Ford Taurus, and shared its platforms and powertrains throughout. The cars of 1996 to 2005 came as GS and LS with a 3.0-litre V6.
