LTS 1.8 DOHC

STORY

The Tracer was sold until 1999 and replaced the Lynx at Mercury. The first generation was based on the Ford Laser, a relative of the Mazda 323. The second generation, from 1991 to 1996, shared its platform with the Escort and the Mazda 323 and Protege, and included the LTS with a 1.8-litre DOHC engine. The third generation ran from 1997 to 1999 as a twin of the new Escort, in LS and GS trims.
