The MG GS was MG's first SUV and a step towards offering more than hatchbacks and saloons. It had a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine, a roomy cabin and low prices in markets including the UK. It was followed by the very successful HS and ZS SUVs, and in the UK the HS replaced it in 2019.
