STORY

The MG Maestro was the sporty version of Austin Rover's family hatchback, launched in 1983 to add performance to the practical five-door. The MG Maestro 2.0 EFi and the turbocharged MG Maestro Turbo were quick hot hatches, and the Turbo was among the fastest cars of its type at the time. It stayed on sale until 1991.
