The MG7 name returned in 2022 on a fastback saloon with sporty styling and a roomy cabin, built for the Chinese market. It has turbocharged petrol engines and shows MG as a maker of good-looking mid-size sedans. The name had been used before on the MG saloon based on the Rover 75.
