The MG ZR, launched in 2001, was a sporting hot-hatch version of the Rover 25 developed by the newly independent MG Rover Group. With uprated suspension, sporty styling and lively K-series engines, it became one of Britain's best-selling MGs and a favourite of younger enthusiasts. It remained in production until MG Rover collapsed in 2005.
The MG ZR was a sporting hot-hatch reworking of the Rover 25, part of MG Rover's 2001 Z-car range.
