STORY

The Dingo, sold in Japan as the Mirage Dingo, was a tall compact wagon from Mitsubishi. It was announced on 22 December 1998 and went on sale on 4 January 1999 with one engine, a 1.5-litre gasoline direct-injection four rated at 105 PS, a four-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. The wheelbase was 2,440 mm. In February 2001 a minor change moved the 1.5-litre cars from the four-speed automatic to a CVT. Production ended in spring 2002, and the Dion minivan launched in 2000 was developed from it.
