STORY

The Dion was a seven-seat compact minivan that Mitsubishi sold in Japan from January 2000 to 2006. It was developed from the Mirage Dingo of 1999 and had a 2,705 mm wheelbase against the Dingo's 2,440 mm, to fit a third row. Sales began on 29 January 2000 with a 2.0-litre direct-injection 4G63 engine rated at 135 PS and a four-speed automatic, at prices from 1.598 million yen before tax. The body was 4,460 mm long, a size that fell in the 5-number small-car class. The model disappeared in spring 2006.
