STORY

The eK is Mitsubishi's tall kei wagon line. The first eK Wagon appeared in October 2001 with a 657 cc three-cylinder rated at 50 PS (37 kW). The third generation of June 2013 was sold alongside the Nissan Dayz as a twin. The fourth generation went on sale on 28 March 2019 as the eK Wagon and the SUV-styled eK X, built at Mizushima with Nissan leading development, and rated 52 PS (38 kW), with a 64 PS (47 kW) turbo only on the eK X. On 20 May 2022 Mitsubishi announced the eK X EV, a sibling of the Nissan Sakura, priced at 2,398,000 yen for the G and 2,932,600 yen for the P.
