The U61V 660 Van is the rear-wheel-drive van of the sixth-generation Minicab (1999-2014), with a 657 cc 3G83 three-cylinder 12-valve engine in a 3,395 mm long kei body. It is the closed load-carrying counterpart to the U62T pickup and lacks that model's four-wheel drive.

STORY

Mitsubishi introduced the Minicab in 1966 as a kei truck and later van, giving Japanese small businesses a low-cost, compact load carrier. Through successive generations it moved from 360 cc engines to 660 cc under kei rules, with the U61/U62 series running 1999-2014 on the 3G83 three-cylinder. In 2011 it gained the Minicab MiEV, an early electric commercial vehicle, and since 2014 the petrol versions have been rebadged Suzuki Every and Carry models.
