From 2019, the Mirage 1.2 (A05A) is the updated sixth-generation hatchback, with the revised front styling of the 2019 refresh. It keeps the 1.2-litre 3A92 three-cylinder with MIVEC (about 78 PS) and front-wheel drive, remaining a small, light and fuel-efficient city car.

STORY

The first Mirage arrived in 1978 as Mitsubishi's first front-wheel-drive car, and the second generation followed in 1983. The name returned in 2012 on a small three-cylinder hatchback built in Thailand with a 1.2-litre engine, which made 78 hp in the United States in its last years, according to The Drive. In August 2024 Mitsubishi said the Mirage was being discontinued there with no 2025 model, and that production would end late in 2024.
