STORY

Mitsubishi first used the Colt name in 1962 on the Colt 600. The 1978 car that Europe bought as the Colt was sold in Japan as the Mirage. The Z30 Colt went on European sale in May 2004, built at NedCar in Born, Netherlands, on the technical basis it shared with the Smart Forfour, which was built alongside it. After the Z30 ended in 2012 the name returned in 2023 on a rebadged fifth-generation Renault Clio, built in Bursa, Turkey, with a 91 PS 1.0-litre turbo petrol among its engines.
