The Outlander 3.0 V6 is the top petrol version of the third-generation Outlander sold in the United States and Canada, fitted to the GT trim. Its 3.0-litre V6 (6B31) makes 224 hp and about 291 Nm (215 lb-ft) through a six-speed automatic with Super All-Wheel Control. It was the last V6 Outlander.

STORY

The Outlander PHEV went on sale in Japan on 24 January 2013. It paired a 2.0-litre MIVEC petrol engine with a 12.0 kWh battery and two 60 kW electric motors, one on each axle. European sales began in 2013, and in 2020 it sold 26,673 units across Europe, the top-selling plug-in hybrid SUV there according to JATO Dynamics. The next generation brought a 20 kWh battery, with Japanese deliveries starting in December 2021.
