The Xpander Cross 1.5 is the rugged-styled version of the Xpander seven-seat MPV, launched in 2019. It has the same 1.5-litre 4A91 MIVEC four-cylinder (105 PS, 141 Nm) as the standard car, but adds cladding and a raised ground clearance of 225 mm.

STORY

The Xpander is a family MPV that Mitsubishi revealed in Jakarta in July 2017 and showed to the public at the Gaikindo show in August 2017. It is built in West Java. Its 1.5-litre petrol four makes 141 Nm of torque. In November 2019 the raised Xpander Cross followed with about 225 mm of ground clearance on the manual. A refreshed Xpander was revealed in November 2021 with a new front end and, in Indonesia, a CVT in place of the four-speed automatic.
