The Midsummer is a Morgan sports car first shown in 2024 as an open barchetta, built on the company's CXV bonded-aluminium platform with a BMW B58 turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six.
The Midsummer Coupe grew out of a single customer's request for a closed version. Interest from other buyers led Morgan to commit to nine cars, and the company unveiled the project on 24 June 2026 with a reference prototype it calls the artists' proof. The roofline, glazing and aluminium body were reworked as one integrated structure rather than adding a hard-top.
Morgan developed the coupe with Pininfarina, whose Fuoriserie emblem marks the car. Each of the nine buyers specifies colours, leather and timber finishes with Morgan's design team.
