STORY

The 1100 and 1300 were Morris versions of the ADO16, a front-wheel-drive family saloon designed by Alec Issigonis. The Morris 1100 appeared in 1962 and the 1300 followed in 1967. The Morris saloons ended in 1971. Its Hydrolastic suspension linked the wheels on each side. BMC also sold the same car under other badges. It was among the best-selling cars in Britain in the 1960s.
