The ET5 Touring is the estate/wagon body style of Nio's ET5 sedan, launched in China in 2023 as the brand's first station wagon. It shares the NT2.0 platform, dual-motor powertrains and swappable 75/100/150 kWh battery packs, adding a longer roofline and larger cargo area. Like the sedan it supports battery swapping through Power Swap stations and carries the Aquila lidar sensor suite.
The NIO ET5 Touring, also called the ET5T, is the station-wagon estate variant of the ET5 sedan, unveiled in 2023. It shares the ET5's dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain of around 360 kW (487 PS) and NIO Power battery-swap support across 75, 100 and 150 kWh packs, while adding a larger 470-liter boot expanding to 1,300 liters and towing capability. Aimed at buyers wanting extra practicality without losing performance, it is a rare premium electric estate. It competes in the niche but growing premium electric wagon segment.
