STORY

The ES8 is Nio's flagship full-size SUV and the company's first production car, launched in China in 2018 as a three-row six/seven-seater. It pioneered Nio's battery-swap model, letting owners exchange a depleted pack for a full one in minutes at Power Swap stations, with packs of up to 150 kWh. Later generations moved to the NT2.0 platform; export markets receive it as the EL8.
