STORY
The 240RS was Nissan's Group B rally car, dating from 1982. It ran the purpose-built FJ24, a 2,340 cc four-cylinder with twin cams and four valves per cylinder, and about 200 road cars were built so it could be homologated, which the FIA record dates to 2 January 1983. Its best world championship result came that same year, second on the Rally New Zealand. In 1985 an evolution car finished third on its Safari Rally debut with Mike Kirkland, while Nissan privateers won the team prize.
