STORY

Nissan introduced the Z33 in 2002 as the Fairlady Z in Japan, and 350Z is the name it carried outside Japan. The early cars used the 3,498 cc VQ35DE V6, rated at 280 PS on the Japanese Fairlady Z Version ST and at 287 hp on the 2003 US-market 350Z, two ratings from two markets; the VQ35HR with 306 hp followed in 2007. A soft-top Roadster was added in 2003 in Japan and for the 2004 model year in the US. Production ended in December 2008 according to Nissan's heritage page, and 2009 was the last model year.
