Nissan announced the Note Aura on 15 June 2021 and started selling it on 17 August 2021, as a premium car above the E13 Note of December 2020 rather than a trim level of it. Every body panel except the roof and the front doors is specific to the Aura, with new bumpers, new front and rear fenders and new rear doors. The widened fenders put it at 1,735 mm across against the Note's 1,695 mm, which moved it out of Japan's narrow 5-number tax class, and exclusive 17-inch wheels on 205/50R17 tyres replaced the Note's 16-inch set. The e-POWER drivetrain turns the wheels on its electric motor alone, uprated here to 100 kW and 300 Nm. A NISMO version was announced the day sales opened, and the front end was redrawn at the minor change of 13 June 2024.
Premium version of the E13 Note (from 2021) with a wider body and the e-Power series hybrid; NISMO version available.
