STORY
The Cefiro started in 1988 with the A31, a Japanese sedan powered by RB-series straight-sixes. The 1994 A32 changed the recipe: front-wheel drive and V6 engines, among them a 3.0-litre VQ30DE. Abroad it often wore a Maxima badge, and North America received it as the Infiniti I30 for the 1996 model year. A wagon joined late in the A32's life and outlived the sedan, running until 2000. The A33 followed in December 1998. In Japan the Cefiro name ended in 2003, when the Teana took over.
