STORY

Nissan launched the Cedric Cima and Gloria Cima, both FPY31 models, in January 1988, and its own history says the Cima was dubbed the Cima Phenomenon and became an instant hit. The F50 generation went on sale in 2001. The fifth generation, the HGY51, followed in 2012 as a hybrid-only car based on the Fuga, with a wheelbase 150 mm longer than the Fuga Hybrid and a 3.5-litre V6 with a one-motor, two-clutch hybrid system.
