STORY

The N7 was developed and is built in China by Dongfeng Nissan, and it was the first car on the joint venture's new modular architecture for electrified vehicles. Previewed by the Epoch concept at the Beijing show in April 2024, it was unveiled at Auto Guangzhou on 15 November 2024 and launched on 27 April 2025, with deliveries from 15 May. The saloon runs 4,930 mm long on a 2,915 mm wheelbase, took a 58 or 73 kWh battery, the mid-range 625 Pro going 635 km, and carries a Navigate on Autopilot system worked out with Momenta; the Air, Pro and Max grades spanned 119,900 to 149,900 yuan. Nissan counted 17,215 orders in the first month, bought mainly by families under 35, seven in ten of whom were new to the brand. Export brought a second name: the same sedan was unveiled in the Philippines on 4 June 2026 as the Primera EV.
