STORY

The Cedric dates to 1960, and the name stayed in use for more than four decades. The Y31 generation was released in 1987, the Y32 followed in mid-1991, and the Y33 arrived in June 1995 with the 3.0-litre VQ30 V6 among its engines, alongside the VQ20DE, the VQ25DE and a turbocharged VQ30DET. The Y31 line also added the Cedric Cima in 1988. The last new generation, the Y34, was unveiled in 1999, and its 250L and 250LV models used a 2.5-litre V6, the VQ25DD.
