STORY

The Fairlady roadster line was Nissan's early open two-seat sports car, launched in the early 1960s and the spiritual predecessor to the Z-car. Progressively larger engines took it from 1.5 to 2.0 litres, with the SR311 Fairlady 2000 becoming a genuinely quick and competitive sports car. It laid the groundwork for the 240Z that followed.
