The NV300 was a Renault Trafic with Nissan badges and a reworked grille. Nissan confirmed it on 17 February 2016 as the Primastar's replacement, between the NV200 and the NV400, showed it at Hannover on 21 September 2016 and opened European sales that November. Renault assembled it at Sandouville beside the Trafic, and the Nissan version was marked out by a reworked V-motion grille. Bodies ran from four panel-van sizes through crew vans and a floor cab to a nine-seat Combi, with 5.2 to 8.3 cubic metres of load space and a load bay on the entry-level L1H1 van 110 mm longer than the Primastar's. At launch all four engines were the 1.6-litre dCi at 95, 120, 125 and 145 hp, the first two single-turbo and the last two twin-turbo, Euro 6 with AdBlue; by 2019 the range read 95, 120, 145 and 170. On 27 September 2021 Nissan announced the van would become the Primastar again.
Nissan-badged Renault Trafic X82 (2016-2021) for Europe, the Primastar's successor.
