STORY

Nissan introduced the first Pathfinder in 1986 and sold it in the United States from the 1987 model year. Nissan's heritage collection files the same truck as the Terrano (Pathfinder), and it was based on the D21 pickup. It began as a two-door, and rear doors arrived for 1990. The second generation, new for 1996, moved to unibody construction. The third, from 2005, returned to body-on-frame on a modified F-Alpha platform and gained a 5.6-litre V8 of 310 hp for 2008. The fourth, from 2013, went to a unibody again.
