STORY
The Primera was Nissan's European family car, sold at home as well. The P10 reached Japanese showrooms on February 1, 1990 through Nissan Prince dealers and some Nissan Cherry dealers, a comfort-package sedan built around a twin-cam 16-valve engine and multi-link front suspension, and from October 1991 Nissan shipped the five-door built by Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) at Sunderland back into Japan. The P11 of September 19, 1995 ran under two names at once: Primera through Prince and Cherry stores, Primera Camino through Sunny stores, Camino being Spanish for road. North America took the car as the Infiniti G20, which Nissan called a car based on the European Primera. RML's Primera GT won the 1998 British Touring Car manufacturers' and teams' titles. The P12 of January 30, 2001 put three analogue dials in the middle of the dash.
