STORY

Nissan showed a near-production Rasheen at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 1993 and put it on sale on 12 December 1994. It was a compact Sunny-based crossover built by the contract maker Takada Kogyo, and every car at launch had a 1.5-litre engine and full-time four-wheel drive. A 1.8-litre ft series joined in January 1997 and the 2.0-litre Forza in April 1998. Production ended in August 2000 after about 73,000 cars.
