STORY
The Roox has been a tall kei wagon under three different arrangements. The first reached dealers on December 1, 2009 as a car Nissan took from Suzuki, which sold the same machine as the Palette; the name joins Room and Max, and the intercooled turbo made 47 kW. From February 13, 2014 the slot passed to the Dayz Roox, planned and developed through NMKV, the Nissan and Mitsubishi joint venture, which drew 28,000 orders in a month against a target of 5,000. Nissan announced on February 25, 2020 that the Dayz half of the name was going; the car that followed on March 19 had been engineered by Nissan under NMKV, with 795 mm of rear knee room and ProPILOT, and Nissan counted about 612,000 sales for the line from 2009 to January 2020. A fourth Roox, first shown on August 22, was announced on September 19, 2025 and shared the 2026 RJC Car of the Year with Mitsubishi's eK Space and Delica Mini.
