Townstar EV 45 kWh

STORY

The Townstar is the third-generation Renault Kangoo with Nissan badges, unveiled in Paris on 27 September 2021 in the same release that renamed the NV400 as the Interstar and the NV300 as the Primastar. It took the compact-van slot from the NV200 and e-NV200 and the Kangoo donor role from the NV250, is built beside the Kangoo at Maubeuge on the Alliance CMF-C platform, and was the first European Nissan to wear the company's new logo, its front shield carrying a Kumiko pattern. Orders opened across Europe on 15 December 2021 for the 1.3-litre petrol version, rated at 130 PS and 240 Nm and from 145 g/km of CO2 as a van, with the passenger version scoring four Euro NCAP stars. The 45 kWh electric Townstar, 122 PS and up to 300 km on the WLTP cycle, entered production in September 2022.
