The NSU TT and TTS were sporty versions of the rear-engined Typ 110/1000 range, built in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They had enlarged, more powerful air-cooled four-cylinder engines and were popular and successful in touring-car and hillclimb racing. Light weight and a rear-mounted engine gave them a strong reputation in competition.
The sporty hot-rod version of the rear-engined Prinz 1000, with a larger engine and tuned suspension. The TTS and TT beat much bigger cars in touring-car racing.
