STORY

The Cutlass Supreme was the upscale personal-luxury version of the Cutlass. The Supreme name appeared in 1966 as a trim level, and through the 1970s the rear-wheel-drive A-body coupe was hugely popular. Rear-wheel-drive cars were built until 1988. From 1988 it was a front-wheel-drive coupe and sedan, later offered with a 3.4-litre DOHC V6, and it was built until 1997.
