STORY
The Cutlass line began in 1964 as Oldsmobile's mid-size A-body car and became one of the best-selling cars in America in the 1970s and 1980s. The 4-4-2 performance package began in 1964 and received a 400 cu in V8 in 1965. It peaked in 1970 with the 455 cu in (7.5 L) V8, and the W-30 version of that year is among the most collectible Oldsmobiles. The line was restyled in 1973 and downsized in 1978. The last Cutlass, of 1997-1999, was a rebadged Chevrolet Malibu.
