The Omoda 9 reached the UK in 2025 as the flagship of the Omoda brand. It is a mid-size SUV built around Chery's Super Hybrid System plug-in powertrain. The system combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with two electric motors, which gives all-wheel drive, strong acceleration and an electric-only range of about 150 km. It is sold in the UK and other European markets as the top model of the range.
