Admiral A 4.6 V8

STORY

The Admiral reached the market in 1964 as one of three big Opel saloons, alongside the Kapitän and the Diplomat. A V8 version of that first Admiral was on offer by 1965. The second generation followed in 1969, the Kapitän B was dropped after about a year, leaving the Admiral and Diplomat at the top, and the Admiral stayed in production until the mid-1970s. The Admiral was built until 1976, with a few more cars finished in 1977, while the Diplomat ran to 1977.
