The Cascada convertible entered production at Opel's Gliwice plant in Poland just before its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show on 7 to 17 March 2013, and reached dealers from April. Gliwice built it as the sixth Opel model made there. The soft-top range included turbocharged petrol engines and a 2.0 CDTI ecoFLEX diesel rated at 121 kW (165 hp). In 2018 Opel announced that the Cascada would leave the line-up without a successor, and the last cars were built at Gliwice in 2019.
Opel's mid-size four-seat soft-top convertible built 2013-2019, based on the Astra J platform.
