The Super 6 was Opel's mid-sized six-cylinder car of the late 1930s. Opel showed it at the Berlin motor show in 1937 together with the larger Admiral, and production ran from 1937 to 1938. It used a 2.5-litre inline six of 2,473 cc and was sold in several bodies, including a sedan and a cabriolet. It sat in the middle of the range, one step below the Admiral, and the Opel Kapitän took over from it in 1938. The name here means this German Opel; the Opel name is written Super 6.
