The Vectra was Opel's mid-sized family car from 1988 to 2008, in three generations. The Vectra A went on sale in autumn 1988 and replaced the Ascona C. The Vectra B followed in autumn 1995, and the Vectra C was shown at the Geneva show in March 2002 and reached dealers in spring, with the Caravan estate following in October 2003. The Vectra line ended in 2008. The Vauxhall Vectra and the Saturn L-series are separate entries, not Opel versions.
Opel's mid-size sedan and wagon from 1988 to 2008, predecessor to the Insignia and rival to the Ford Mondeo.
