STORY

The Packard Caribbean was a limited-production luxury convertible offered from 1953 to 1956, Packard's answer to top showpieces like the Cadillac Eldorado. The first series (1953-1954) was a stylish convertible with a straight-eight engine. The second series (1955-1956) had Packard's new V8 and torsion-bar suspension, and a hardtop was added. It was one of the last true prestige Packards before the marque's decline.
