STORY

The 203 was announced in the Auto Journal in 1947 and shown to the public at the Paris Motor Show in October 1948. The four-cylinder engine had an aluminium Alpax cylinder head with hemispherical combustion chambers. Besides the saloon, Peugeot sold commercial and family versions, so the same body served as a delivery car and a family estate. A coupé was added in 1952 but stayed in the catalogue only for a short time, and the 203 remained in production from 1948 until 1960.
