STORY

The 308 replaced the 307 in 2007, when the older car had already passed three million built. The second generation won European Car of the Year for 2014 with 307 points from 58 jurors, ahead of the BMW i3 on 223 and the Tesla Model S on 216, and sat on the EMP2 platform; the result was reported in early March 2014. The third generation, the P51, was a finalist for the 2022 award, as Peugeot's own history also records.
