STORY

The 4007 was Peugeot's Mitsubishi Outlander in different clothes. A trade report in October 2006 described it as a three-way project of Peugeot, Citroen and Mitsubishi, with the Citroen C-Crosser as its twin. UK and Irish reviews, including RTE in December 2007, quote one diesel engine, a 2.2-litre HDi with 156 bhp and 380 Nm, and a 5+2 seating layout. The ASX-based 4008 followed the same Mitsubishi route in 2011 reports.
