STORY

The first 5008 was a compact MPV with up to seven seats, announced for the Frankfurt show in September 2009, with European sales due that autumn and the Netherlands from mid-November, and 1.6 petrol engines of 120 and 156 hp at launch. The second generation was shown in September 2016 as a seven-seat SUV on the EMP2 platform shared with the 3008, with UK sales planned for spring 2017. Seven seats were on offer in both generations, though the body changed from MPV to SUV.
