Pininfarina styled the 504 Coupe and its Cabriolet sister and the pair were shown at the Geneva show in March 1969. They began with a 1.8-litre four-cylinder of about 100 hp and then a 2.0-litre; from 1974 a 2.7-litre PRV V6 with 136 hp was offered, later raised to 144 hp with fuel injection. Motor-car.net puts combined output at about 31,000 cars, and production ended in 1983. It was sold next to the 504 saloon, which had won Car of the Year in 1969.
