STORY

The Rifter is the passenger van that took over from the Partner Tepee, which Peugeot introduced in 2008. It was presented ahead of the 2018 Geneva Motor Show on the EMP2 platform it shares with the Citroen Berlingo and Opel and Vauxhall Combo, in two lengths of 4.40 m and 4.75 m. Engines announced for Europe were 1.2 litre PureTech petrols in 110 and 130 versions and a 1.5 litre BlueHDi diesel in 75, 100 and 130 versions. Peugeot also showed a Rifter 4x4 Concept at Geneva, a camper with Dangel four-wheel drive and ground clearance raised by 80 mm, fitted with a 1.5 litre diesel and a six-speed manual gearbox.
