STORY

The Voyager minivan entered production at Chrysler's Windsor, Ontario plant on November 2, 1983, as a 1984 model alongside the Dodge Caravan. A long-wheelbase Grand Voyager joined for the 1987 model year, the same year a V6 became available, a 3.0 liter Mitsubishi unit rated at 136 hp. The second-generation AS platform arrived for 1991 and the NS generation followed for 1996. The Plymouth Voyager ended with the 2000 model year and the minivan carried on as a Chrysler, while the Plymouth brand itself was discontinued in 2001.
