STORY

Plymouth introduced the Satellite for 1965 as the top trim of its mid-size Belvedere line, first as a hardtop and a convertible. In 1968 the Road Runner arrived on the same B platform, with a standard 383 V8 rated at 335 hp, and the Belvedere name was retired after 1970. For 1971 the Satellite got new rounded fuselage styling. The Satellite name was dropped after 1974, and Plymouth moved the Fury name to its intermediates for 1975.
