STORY
The Trail Duster was Plymouth's badge-engineered version of the Dodge Ramcharger, a large sport utility Chrysler introduced for 1974. It was basically a Ramcharger with a different badge. Both started as four-wheel drive only, with a rear-wheel-drive version added for 1975. Engine choices included V8s up to 440 cubic inches. The Plymouth was dropped after the 1981 model year, while the Dodge carried on through 1993.
